Burn On

Self-published as a zine (2026)

“Burn On” is a two-track comic that sets a slice-of-life scene of a woman going swimming to the lyrics of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” It was inspired by the challenging emotions that bubbled up following the 2024 presidential election.

This zine was drawn using a brush pen, watercolor, and colored pencils on hand-torn watercolor paper, and was bound using embroidery floss.
